”It was just perfect and we extended our stay because we just couldn’t leave this lovely paradise and the Sanctum family. It felt like being with friends who welcomed us by the bottom of their heart. Cedrick and Fate as well as all other members from housekeeping, cooking, diving have been so helpful, lovely and enjoyable company.
It was easy to address any need or wish in terms of food, accommodation, transport, expeditions and diving. It was also heartwarming to see how they interact with each other. It seems like the whole team really love their place and work. the rooms are spacious and well-furnished and come with mosquito-nets and fans.
The dive sites are unique and rich in all different kinds of underwater life. The diving was organized and done very professionally. Also the equipment is well maintained. All divemasters, instructors, guide and captains did very well to make every dive safe and enjoyable.
I could come continue forever with this positive review! Just visit them by yourself and see it on your own.”
”Una Una Sanctum Resort is fabulous. The staff is polite and helpful. The location is right on the beach so when we had time in between scuba diving, we would snorkel or laze in the hammocks in front of our rooms. The dive sites are 5 minutes from the resort jetty and the diving here is one of Sulawesi’s best kept secret. I don’t want to give away the suspense, you should go there to experience the incredible diving. Food is a refreshing change from local cuisines, probably the best wood fire oven pizzas in Sulawesi. Every meal had local dishes as well so you’re never left asking for more variety. They help organize transport to and from Una Una as well as site-seeing tours around the island. The diving will make you go to Una Una and Sanctum will make you want to stay back!”
English translation:
”We had planned to stay 2 nights in Una Una and we ended up staying a week because we felt like being home.
From our arrival until our departure, everything was perfect, the staff was very attentive, the room was clean and bright, a real cocoon, with the sound of the waves to fall asleep.
The food was succulent, with generous and various portions, for me who has been living and traveling in Indonesia for 3 years, I can assure you that it is really a higher standard than all the dive resorts I visited, and it is worthy of the best liveboards.
Regarding the dives (I have more than 1500), it is also exceptional, for me, it is even better than Raja Ampat, and almost as great as Alor or the Similan. The coral reefs are highly healthy, not many large pelagic animals but the fauna is diverse and very abundant, it is a constant spectacle for the eyes. And the cherry on top of the cake: we dive every day using Nitrox which is much safer and relaxing, and allow to dive longer on the most interesting dive sites. Apart for the wetsuits, the diving equipment is looking new and very well maintained, we can really see that safety is the priority of this dive center with a great and professional team.”
