Night diving is completely different from diving during the day time. You will experience a whole new world when the daytime fish will hide in the corals and the nocturnal creatures come out to hunt.

Night diving is a super fun adventure that makes you feel like an underwater detective, as you look for mysterious creatures in the small holes and in the rock formations using your torch.

In the night time, your vision will be focused on smaller areas illuminated by your dive torch to guide you during the dive, unlike during the day when you can see as far as your eyes reach.

One of the unique specialties of night diving in Una Una Island is that bioluminescence is visible here, allowing you to witness glowing plankton at night.

If you are planning to dive in Lembeh Strait we highly recommend a Night Dive Specialty, as diving there requires specialized training.

NIGHT DIVER SPECIALTY COURSE

In this Specialty Course you will learn useful skills not only for night diving, but also for navigation in low visibility conditions. Knowing correct procedures, having the right equipment, and knowing how to use them makes you a safer and better diver.

During the academic session you will study the Night Diver manual, engaging in knowledge reviews under the guidance of your instructor. You can also expect a presentation covering differences between day and night diving.

In the Night Diver Specialty Course you will learn how to use your torch and signal your buddy with it, as well as navigating in the dark or low visibility environments. Maintaining buoyancy control becomes crucial in the absence of daytime references. Night diving offers a serene, leisure pace, allowing you plenty of time to enjoy the reef animals.
