ADVANCED OPEN WATER
Duration 2-3 days
5 dives
During your Advanced Open Water course you will complete your theory based on five Adventure dives, two core dives or deep dive and navigation.
You will choose three Adventure dives from your own interest – such as nitrox, night diving, drift diving, underwater photography, multi-level computer diving, peak performance buoyancy, search & recovery or fish identification.
Deep dive training allows you to explore dive sites up to 30 meters. You will learn how to manage your air supply and dive safety while diving deeper than 18 meters.
You will learn about possible hazards and you will be able to manage them. Deep diving is relatively safe as long as you follow the rules.
Navigation is a very important skill to hav while diving. With our Advanced course you will be able to follow your dive plan more effectively while decreasing the risk of getting disoriented underwater. This course will teach you different techniques to use your compass, improve your computer skills, and to plan your dives the way you can easily find your way back to the shore or boat.
Sanctum Una Una recommendation for your choice of 3 additional adventure dives
NITROX – Nitrox (Enriched Air Nitrox) allows you to dive longer, reduces the time you need to rest between dives, and leaves you feeling less tired afterwards.
You will learn how to analyze your tank, gain more knowledge about decompression models and you will be able to do repetitive dives even more safely.
NIGHT – When the sun goes down, day time creatures hide in the coral reefs and mysterious creatures appear. This is the time when your visibility underwater will become limited.
Night dives or dives in low visibility require similar training, equipment, and practice to be able to navigate comfortably in challenging conditions.
With this adventure dive you will learn the techniques and equipment handling skills for night diving. You will be able to communicate with fellow divers by using your torch.
