Our ADIP training center in Sanctum Una Una will provide you with top-notch professional training to prepare you for teaching in real-life settings. Completing the ITC (Instructor Training Course) grants you an internationally recognized certification, opening doors to teach and work all around the world. As a dive professional, you will create a positive atmosphere and inspire divers to appreciate the beauty beneath the waves.

ADIP Instructor Training Course (ITC)

Duration: 2 weeks

During the ADIP ITC, you will learn how to supervise students both in the pool and in open water. Building professional relationships with your students is crucial since you will be their role model, and setting a positive atmosphere will help them feel confident and secure throughout their courses. Training will also cover recognising diver‘s stress and how to calmly and safely manage your students in these situations.

ADIP INSTRUCTOR 1*

The ADIP ITC will allow you to teach and lead students towards certifications for the Basic Diver, Divers level 1* and 2*.

You will be able to

  • plan the dives safely
  • teach theoretical and practical courses
  • supervise briefings
  • create a good, relaxing, and safe atmosphere for your students to learn happily

• Pool and open water exercises
• Exam
• Certification (including certification fees)

Who can take this course?

• Minimum 18 years old
• ADIP 4* or Divemaster (PADI/SSI) license
• DiveMedic, EFR or equivalent in the last 24 months
• Minimum 100 logged dives
• Dive insurance
• Be a certified diver for at least one year
• Valid scuba diving medical examination (in the last 12 months)

Gain knowledge and learn how to teach

You will master the theoretical knowledge necessary for various certifications as well as practice delivering presentations and courses in real classroom settings. Understand teaching standards and scuba diving theory in both closed body of water (e.g. lake) and open water (e.g. sea) environments. You will learn how to choose dive sites suitable for the courses using maps, tide charts, and current readings. During the course you will also explore marketing strategies, using the ADIP website and mastering online e-learning tools.

Develop your practical skills

During pool sessions, you will perfect all ADIP level skills and learn how to demonstrate them to students, offering help if needed. You will practise realistic teaching scenarios with fellow students and our assistants.

After receiving your ADIP Instructor 1* certificate, you will be only a step away to become ADIP 2 * instructor. Upon certifying ten Diver 1* students and five Diver 2* students, you can upgrade your instructor level to ADIP instructor 2*.
