SNORKELING
Explore the underwater treasures with a mask and snorkel!
Enjoy the pristine coral reefs and its marine life by snorkeling in the front of Sanctum Resort, or join a boat trip to discover other parts of the island.
Most of our dive sites are suitable for snorkeling and freediving. Our staff will guide you to the best snorkeling spots.

VOLCANO TREK
Discover the power of nature while hiking up an active volcano!
Explore the wild and untouched nature of Una Una island with a hike to the Togeans’ only active volcano. You are in for an unforgettable experience!
Volcano Colo
Hiking up volcano Colo which last erupted in 1983 is a must-do activities in Una Una!
You will start your hike in the early morning to avoid the hottest time of the day. Depending on the group size, you will either go by boat (5-6 people minimum) or by motorbike with a guide as your driver.
Your guide will take you to the starting point of your hike and accompany you to the top, leading the way and helping you if needed. The hike follows a riverbed formed by lava from the last eruption. You will witness some amazing “Jurassic Park” views while walking surrounded by dense jungle. At the volcano summit, you will be amazed by the crater!
Our team at Sanctum Resort will organize everything for your half day trip. We work with local guides who know this area the best.
Volcano Ambun
This half day trip shows you the beautiful landscapes of Una Una Island. The trip is organized similarly to the Volcano Colo hike. You will leave in the morning accompanied by local guides.
During this volcano walk, you will discover the pure nature of Una Una Island and you will be amazed when you reach the top and witness the crater of the Volcano Ambun!
Price for a half-day volcano trek (1 volcano): 250.000 IDR/person – to be paid in cash directly to the guides after the excursion

A calm breath in front of the ocean
We offer the perfect location for your yoga sessions with a stunning ocean view. Yoga mats are available upon request.
Enjoy revitalizing morning stretches, a little bit of meditation by the ocean, or a relaxing yoga session during sunset.
Our yoga platform is located at the top of the beach, allowing you to feel the ocean breeze while practicing your Asanas.
We have Yoga teachers available from time to time, so please contact us to check if one will be here during your visit.
INDONESIAN COOKING
Learn how to cook delicious local dishes
Bring a piece of Indonesia back home with you by learning to cook delicious local food. Impress your friends and family by cooking yourself some Indonesian cuisine. Our kitchen staff will teach you how to use different spices, to make your own sambal (spicy sauce), and cook tempeh or a bamboo leaf steamed fish.
Our local chefs at Sanctum will be happy to invite you in the kitchen to see how they prepare meals for lunch and dinner. Don’t hesitate to ask them what dish they will prepare and pop up in the kitchen for an improvise cooking lesson!
FROM SUNRISE TO SUNSET
The best way to enjoy the end of a relaxing day
Sunset boat cruise
Take a short boat ride to the north part of the island and enjoy the sunset from the beach while drinking a freshly opened coconut with the papaya straw.
You can also include a diving or snorkeling session in this trip, either before or after the sunset.
The waters around Una Una are home to a bioluminescent plankton. During a night swim, the ocean lights up like a sky full of stars!
Beautiful sunrise at your door
To see a spectacular sunrises, simply step out of your room. Our resort faces east, allowing you to watch the sunrise every morning from your porch or our jetty.
SIMPLY RELAX
Live the true island life and take it easy!
There’s plenty of space to relax at Sanctum Resort. Grab a book from our bookshelf and enjoy some quiet reading time in our two lounge areas, furnished with comfortable sofas and pillows, or hang out in one of our hammocks.
In the evenings, unwind on your porch with a fresh coconut or a cold beer from our bar to end your perfect day. Although the sun sets on the opposite side of Una Una, you can still glaze at the beautiful pink and orange colors of the sky in front of Sanctum.
